Cantate
Cantate is a fun, friendly, non-auditioned choir of adult sopranos and altos.
The ensemble rehearses on Mondays, 11 AM - 12 PM in Downtown Jacksonville at the headquarters of the Jacksonville Children’s Chorus, 62 Main Street North. Cantate will perform with the Jacksonville Children’s Chorus in concert. This intergenerational program will unite younger and older generations to enrich participants' lives. Cantate made its premiere on December 16, 2023, during JCC’s sold-out Annual Cool Side of Yuletide Concert at Hendricks Avenue Baptist Church.
Rehearsals for the fall semester will begin on September 29, 2025.
Fee per semester:
There is a $25 registration fee due upon sign-up, which must be paid in order to attend rehearsals.
A $125 participation fee is due by October 31st, 2025.
Attire for performances ($175). Prior choral experience preferred. Contact us for more information.
