Jacksonville Children’s Chorus Announces “Songs of Gratitude” Concert Celebrating 20 Years of Darren Dailey’s Leadership

This spring, the Jacksonville Children’s Chorus (JCC) will present its “Songs of Gratitude” concert. The event honors the spirit of thankfulness and celebrates a major milestone: the 20th anniversary of President and Artistic Director Darren Dailey. Since joining the organization in 2006, Dailey’s leadership has shaped the JCC into a world-class institution.

The concert will feature Will Todd’s “Jazz Missa Brevis” performed by the Jacksonville Children’s Chorus, Voices of Jacksonville, and a chamber orchestra.

KT Boling, Director of Operations at the Jacksonville Children’s Chorus, shared more about the meaning behind this event.

“This concert is about giving thanks. We are grateful to our singers for their dedication, our community for embracing us, our donors for making our work possible, our staff and Board of Directors for their commitment, and to Darren Dailey for the 20 years he has poured into this organization and its children.”

"Songs of Gratitude" will take place on March 28, 2026, at Hendricks Avenue Baptist Church. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. and the performance begins at 2 p.m.

Two dollars from every ticket sold will benefit the Chorus’ newly launched endowment fund, a longtime vision of President and Artistic Director Darren Dailey to create a permanent source of support for its mission and programs. Tickets go on sale in January 2026. To join the waiting list and learn more, visit our event page.
