Cantate

Cantate is a fun, friendly, non-auditioned choir of adult sopranos and altos.

The ensemble rehearses Mondays, 11 AM - 12 PM in Downtown Jacksonville at the headquarters of the Jacksonville Children’s Chorus, 62 Main Street North. Cantate will perform with the Jacksonville Children’s Chorus in concert. This intergenerational program will unite younger and older generations to enrich participants' lives. Cantate made its premiere on December 16, 2023, during JCC’s sold-out Annual Cool Side of Yuletide Concert at Hendricks Avenue Baptist Church.

Rehearsals for the spring semester will begin on February 26, 2024.

Fee per semester: There is a $25 registration fee, a printed music fee of $15, and a suggested donation of $100 to cover some of our expenses. This should be paid when you register as your registration is not complete unless the fees have been paid.
