This choir is for advanced singers ages 12-18. Our premier performing group offers a stimulating, comprehensive and demanding choral repertoire requiring advanced level of musical skill. The Touring Choir participates in local, national and international tours.

Although facilitated by the Artistic and Executive Director, members research and select music to study and perform, conduct their own rehearsals, and seek and evaluate performance opportunities.

In keeping with the nature of the music this group will perform, Touring Choir members exchange the traditional Children’s Chorus red vests and blazers for a more sophisticated look. Twenty-four singers may be selected for this choir annually.

A vocal coach/teacher and choreographer may participate in developing skills as needed.

• Britten War Requiem - Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra - May 17-18, 2013
• Piccolo Spoleto Festival early June 2013
• Northwest U.S./Alaska Tour in late June 2013
