Carolyn has been living and working in Donna's passion is in working with both parents and children to help the Chorus reach its performance and organizational goals. She is most proud of her three daughters who have been, or are currently, part of the choirs: Mandi, Tori, and Katie.
CAROLYN BELL AUDIJE
Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator
Graphic designer by trade, Carolyn is treading new ground in her administrative position. She has been working with non-profit organizations for many years, including The Boselli Foundation, The Jacksonville Children's Commission, The Association of Fundraising Professionals, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Resurrection Catholic School and Guardian Catholic Schools. She has a passion for helping children through the use of her artistic gifts.
JENNIFER HSU
Accounting Assistant
Born in Gainesville and raised in Jacksonville, Jennifer graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism. She has always been drawn to being part of the non-profit world. As a Program Intern at the American Lung Association, she implemented ALA programs such as Open Airways for Schools and Better Breathers Club, and was trained as a facilitator for Freedom From Smoking and Open Airways for Schools. She also represented ALA on the School Health Advisory Council, Smoke Free Jax, and Network for Strengthen Families Committees.
Before joining JCC, Jennifer was a manager at her family's restaurant, which just closed its doors after 24 years in business. As manager, she handled vendor relations, oversaw inventory and quality control of food sanitation and products.
With her educational background and management skills, Jennifer feels the JCC is the perfect beginning to being part of the non-profit community again. Although not a singer, Jennifer studied piano all through childhood and really believes in any musical education for children. Jennifer enjoys musicals, learning about other cultures, snowboarding, and Words with Friends. She is very enthusiastic to join the JCC family and is looking forward to being part of this great organization with a great purpose.MARLYN OGBURN
Financial Director
Since 2000, Marlyn Ogburn has helped shape The Chorus into the program it is today. With significant skill and experience in financial management, grant writing, grant management and the day-to-day operations of a non-profit arts organization, Mrs. Ogburn has been instrumental in helping The Chorus serve all Jacksonville’s singing children. She helped create the scholarship program with funding from the Jacksonville Jaguars Foundation, initiated the First Coast Honor’s Choir program, guided the chorus through a Reflective Practice review funded by the Jessie Ball DuPont Community Building Fund, and has procured many of the grants that allow The Chorus to continue its smooth operations.
Mrs. Ogburn holds a Bachelor of Arts from Samford University and a Masters in Health Care Administration from Georgia State University in Atlanta. She has worked in health care program management, social work, and as a teacher. She also served in the Peace Corps and is an active local volunteer in her children’s schools, with her church, and other organizations.DONNA VOSSMAN
Program Coordinator
Donna Vossman has served the Jacksonville Children's Chorus in several capacities prior to accepting her current position as Program Coordinator for the Upper Choirs. Having had her two oldest girls as members of the various choirs, Donna first served the Chorus in a Parent Volunteer role. In 2010, Donna was asked to serve as the Parent Volunteer Coordinator for the upper choirs and soon thereafter was asked to join the staff as the Program Coordinator for the Upper Choirs in 2011. Prior to joining the Chorus, Donna served as the Marketing and Sales Director for a small training and development consulting firm.
